CILTNA Pacific Chapter proud to launch new website developed by BCIT students

Site features essential information for transportation stakeholders...

The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport - Pacific Chapter has announced the launch of its new website. The new website offers quick and easy access to current events.

The website also provides a comprehensive section of essential information and industry insights gleaned from past events in the form of proceedings that can be readily downloaded or read online.

The new website has a clean, uncluttered design, improved functionality and enhanced rich content focused on the Pacific Chapter's contribution to CILTNA's mission to be recognized globally as the first-choice professional body for Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transport.  The new website went live on May 26, 2017, and is located at address: http://ciltnapacific.com.

"We are excited about our new website launch and the robust platform to share information with our members and to better communicate with stakeholders and the business community," said Marian Robson, Pacific Chapter Chair.  "We believe that this new site will allow our visitors to have a very informative experience as we continue to grow and increase our membership presence." The solution created by the students integrates a sleek design, and improved navigation for users.

Ashley Fong, Taylor Ramsay and Brian Leung from the British Columbia Institute of Technology’s Business Information Technology Management program presented the CILTNA Pacific Chapter’s new website on May 17, 2017.  Darryl Anderson stated, "The BCIT students worked diligently on the new online platform for the past eight weeks as part of their directed studies project, and we sincerely appreciate the professionalism and enthusiasm that contributed to an exciting new opportunity for the Pacific Chapter."

Chapter members John Dymond, Bonnie Gee, Darryl Anderson, Marian Robson, Jackie Li and Martin Crilly, were in attendance to show their support and appreciation for the student’s creative efforts on our behalf. Special thanks to Malcolm Ferrier Program Head – Business Information Technology Management/Instructor and BCIT Instructor Cyri Jones for facilitating this collaborative project.
